Description: A disillusioned young girl looking to carve her own path in life and live on her own terms hits the road with a volatile collection of radical revolutionaries in director Alison Murray's uncompromising coming-of-age road film. Sherry (Ellen Page) is a teenage contradiction of sorts; she wants to be accepted but she doesn't want to sacrifice her fierce individualism. When Sherry meets up with SPARKS (Street People Armed with Radical Knowledge) and decides to join the curious group of counter-culture activists in their trek across Europe, it appears as if the idealistic young traveler has finally found a family who will accept her for who she really is. When the SPARKS group arrives in an abandoned Portuguese vineyard to set up their own private Shangri-la, though, their ultimate goal grows increasingly ominous as the heated rhetoric of group leader Harry begins to take a dangerous slant. When a pair of deaths prompt the more weak-minded members of the group to pledge unwavering support, skeptical Sherry and questioning fellow SPARKS member Mad Ax begin to see the group for what it really is a cleverly disguised recruitment tool designed specifically to promote dangerous leader Harry's warped ideology.
Review: Mouth to mouth-surely the author's work, created explicitly for wide screen, because the large format film would pass under the tag "teen adventure" or "parental nightmare", or under any other labels, appropriate for, say, Larry Clark's work ("Ken Park", "Kids"). But this film is not only about the subculture and romance that awaits the viewer in each frame, but rather about the choice of life.

Review: The film begins with a suicide, and then goes back to the past to understand the cause.
The life of the modern teenager can be unbearably heavy, you may have many problems - in relationships with parents, with your loved one with a teacher or peers, especially if you stand out from the majority. These problems can be unbearable, and sometimes the only solution that comes to mind is a man with unformed personality to the end - to end her life.
Despite the apparent first rather predictable outcome, after watching a movie set thinking on a different look at life's troubles. In the end, it all can be overcome.

Review: I got intrigued by this after seeing the trailer in the recent "42nd street forever" compilation, because it's the only trailer in there that doesn't make it clear what the title of the film is, lol ! seriously, there was no on-screen text, just a song (by rick cunha) about best friends, and i think some voice-over narration, but the words "best friends" were only used in plot-descriptive sentences (as opposed to this-is-the-title-of-the-film exclamations) like : "best friends take a trip across country", or : "they were best friends for life" (i don't remember the exact sayings anymore and have deleted the trailers file already...) ; luckily somewhere on the net there was a list of titles of all the trailers in the order in which they appear, so once i had that i looked for it on imdb ; i didn't wanna read about the plot and spoil something, but when i saw the poster and taglines i said to myself : "wait a minute ! that's not what the trailer was about".

Description: Chuck, who is driving a bus trailer  from one state to another, picks up two hitchhikers girls: carefree slut Carol and religious fanatic Maureen. When it appears that the main road is blocked due to repair works, Chuck has to turn to the back roads. Due to heavy rain and smoked marijuana with the girls, he loses orientation in the field, and the bus is finally stuck in the middle of a Florida swamp.
Review: Director Bernard Hirschenson tells his story with sparse dialog, mostly organic soundscapes and incredible cinematography. The result is a trippy, meditative, and almost transcendental film about the destruction of the love movement by conservative values (i.e. government, religion, and social beliefs). In a modern spin on the Garden of Eden story, 3 hippies find themselves in the utopian Everglades. Able to see and enjoy the beauty in their enviorment, the group soon has their beliefs challenged in confrontations that become increasingly surreal.

Review: Such accidentally discovered little-known films are always looking at your own risk, but the risk is, if only for the chance to discover something worthwhile. It happened with the drama «XXY». Provocative story - the story of fifteen, Alex, who is physically and a girl and a boy at the same time, her parents standing at a crossroads, and a teenage boy, for which a meeting with Alex is probably fatal in terms of self-determination - in this film is filed and at the piercing However sensitively. The director does not shock the viewer and does not cause him pain, as he does, for example, Kimberly Peirce in "Boys Do not Cry," and all the cruelty, the limitations and intolerance of others is not the first place, although it is present - even to the extent to which allows you to make the film realistic.
Lucia Puenso consider many other issues, from teen awareness of their sexuality to relationships between fathers and sons - but the main one is the issue of freedom of choice and freedom in general. The main character, Alex, like a stone, ground and sea winds, little vulnerable against the wild wolf, salted Argentine nature as a true free person every day by his act seeks to break the shell of prejudice, stereotypes and social pressures, the fears of parents and break out of the snare of his framework so called "abnormal." But the fact of the matter is that it is not normal for a wary neighbors of the old school, their children, thugs, and plastic surgeon, eager to quickly "to remove it all too much," as he himself seems to have removed, carved out of the heart with equanimity butcher love to his own son.

In it you can see a lot of unfamiliar and young actors who even then were quite older to play high school students even . There is disclosed a good morality that is not enough to be beautiful and attractive , not to be lonely. What we do not love for the beauty and for the kindness and understanding. Average herein disclosed subject paired organ that is haunted by immature minds of pupils , and students too. A striking example of evidence quotes from Vyacheslav Butusova Songs - " The first experience of combat sweaty hands always comes too soon ." What a pity that in this school it was different and not different colors and such fun. What a pity that we have taken away a lot of time wiping the chairs and desks in the flaccid attempts to solve wacky puzzles and remember the tediousness that is unlikely to be useful in real life. Give me back the years!
Review: The plot of Private School includes two pairs of youth . Quiet and romantic with Jim Christie , and reckless hooligan and Bubba and Betsy . However, rowdy and crazy by and large it was Bubba . The heroes of adolescence, and everything connected with it. If Jim wants only to Christie , then Bubba all thoughts are about it, and it cost him to see another beauty , he immediately forgets about Betsy . And for the sake of beauties he can do a lot ! For example, the girls get into the shower , or to pull a woman's dress , make up and sneak into the women's dormitory . Well, that was not boring , and bring along a friend - Jim , of course, also disguised and made-up .
In the film, not a few funny moments , including a strip .
Nice, sweet comedy, with a share of romance and eroticism.
If you want to see something more earthy and obsessed with sex , better see something a la American Pie .
And in this film and harmless jokes , nudity and lighter .
